Mandi Moore participa em "Anatomia de Grey"

Com a aproximação da reta final de Grey’s Anatomy, algumas novidades sobre a série começam a ser divulgadas. A primeira delas é a participação de Mandi Moore no último episódio da sexta temporada.

A cantora e actriz será uma paciente de Bailey no episódio especial com duração de 2 horas, que deve trazer ainda uma grande mudança no enredo da série. Shonda Rhimes, criadora do drama hospitalar, já comentou a possibilidade de um casal bastante querido pelo público, se separar. As especulações ficam a princípio em torno de Derek e Meredith, mas as apostas estão mais voltadas para Callie e Arizona.

E por falar em Arizona, a gravidez de Jessica Capshaw, que a interpreta, pode contribuir para que novos rumos sejam dados à personagem na próxima temporada.

Atualmente, Grey’s Anatomy está em seu sexto ano. O seu episódio final deve ser exibido a 20 de Maio nos EUA.

Chandra Wilson to direct another Grey's Anatomy episode

It seems like Chandra Wilson enjoyed her time behind the camera last time she directed an episode because according to TV Guide’s MegaBuzz she’s headed right back to the director’s chair in an upcoming episode. We learned from the spoiler mill back in December that Jason George would be joining the Seattle Grace team as a hot anesthesiologist with whom Bailey would likely have a fling. As it turns out, this “fling” episode is precisely the one that Chandra Wilson has been called upon (or volunteered!) to direct.
As we learned in prior spoilers, the relationship is not bound to be a love at first sight kind of thing and might involve some tension at first, but eventually evolves into something else.
According to TVGuide, the episode is “steamy, with lots of romance and kissing scenes.” Anyone wanna trade with Chandra Wilson for a day?

"Grey's Anatomy" Preview: Oh Brother

"Grey's Anatomy" welcomes Jake McLaughlin to guest star as Alex's younger brother named Aaron. Since a family member is present at the Seattle Grace-Mercy West, past secrets or any things hidden by Alex are bound to be unveiled in this episode.

Aaron shows up at the hospital with a hernia and it's up to Alex to get Bailey's approval for his pro bono surgery. Matters are further complicated when Aaron discloses that his family has not heard from Alex since he arrived in Seattle, and parts of Alex's past long kept secret are revealed to his friends and fellow doctors.

"Sympathy for the Parents" airs on April 1. Beside largely focusing on Alex, the episode also draws the attention to MerDer. As creator Shonda Rhimes blogged on EW, "Derek and Meredith are going to have a very serious conversation that may or may not involve the word 'baby'.

Demi Lovato: "Grey’s Anatomy" role is a dream come true

Teen queen Demi Lovato will be guest-starring on "Grey's Anatomy" – a gig that she says represents one of her “biggest dreams” coming true.

“I’m so thrilled to announce that this week I’m shooting Grey’s Anatomy!” the star of Disney’s ‘Soony with a Chance‘ revealed on Twitter, Monday. “AHHH!”

Lovato first teased her ‘Grey’s’ visit on Sunday, telling her Twitter followers she’d be “getting up early tomorrow morning to begin a week of fulfilling one of my biggest dreams.”

The 17-year-old actress-singer added that she was “so excited… so blessed… so thankful” to be appearing on the ABC serial. “[It's] a HUGE dream of mine.”

Season 6 - New character

A month ago, on 2nd March, was announced a new name of the actors that the sixth season of Grey's Anatomy will bring.


It's Kim Raver (Nico Reilly from Lipstick Jungle), that signed the contract, if Lipstick Jungle be canceled by NBC.

Katherine Heigl abandon "Grey's Anatomy"

The actress apologize to her fans and justifie her decision with the fact that she wants to dedicate to the family.

After all the speculation created all around of the continuation of Katherine Heigl in the cast of “Grey's Anatomy”, the actress broke the silence and confirmed that will really abandon the north-american serie. During an enterview to the magazine “Entertainment Weekly”, Katherine Heigl apologize to her fans and confess that, after all, is sad about her decision. “I'm going out, I've finished the contract. Me and all the stuff have made a friendly decision for my way out don't chocked with the plot”, told the beauty to the magazine.
The actress, that adopted a corean kid last September, afirmed that wants to dedicate to the family one hundred per cent. I'm building a family and that changes all. I know that I am disappointing my fans, but I had to make a choice. After a three months maternity license to take care of her daughter, Katherine Heigl resumed the recordings of Grey's Anatomy at the begining of March, but should finish her participation at the end of the sixth season of the serie.

Casting Shake-Up on Grey's

Grey's Anatomy is adding three new docs to solve a short-time problem - and perhaps lay the foundation for its long-term future. In the season's fifth episode, Nora Zehetner, Jesse Williams and Robert Baker debut as residents from Seattle Grace's rival hospital, Mercy West. They will rub shoulders - and in some cases butt heads - with their crosstown peers when a merger forces the staff to coexist on Seattle Grace turf. Might these three recurring players ultimately be keepers? "That's the hope," says a source close to one of the newcomers. A Grey's set-sider adds that it's possible some of the characters could take on major roles in the long run. Whatever the case, these changes will help the ABC series navigates a trcikly time. Having already lost George, viewers will see less of Meredith and virtually no Izzie this fall as Ellen Pompeo goes on maternity leave and Katherine Heigl takes a hiatus to shoot a movie. (Izzie loses her job in the merger.) Alex, Cristina and Lexie will interact the most with the Mercy folks. While Mer's pals may give them the cold shoulder, if views warm up with the new faces, Grey's could keep going for years, even if more original cast members decide to turn in their lab coats.
